She felt threatened, so we floated away
Or did we sink?
Air or water?
Is my head still there?
Who am I?
How old am I?
Where am I?
Am I safe?

Fighting to stay present
Fighting a hopeless battle
I’ll always float away

A scar is the tattoo of a triumph to be proud of. It says the hurt is over and the wound is closed. It means you conquered the pain, learned a lesson, grew stronger, and moved forward. There is a beauty in my scars that I can see now.

I have been trying to use music writing as an outlet. I love music. I’ve been so blocked, but I’m hoping to turn this into music if anything just for myself.
