Our chat room
Hi everyone,
I hope you are all doing well in these strange times. It is great to see the support that you all are offering each other here on the forums and in the chat room. We are glad to be able to offer these resources, and very glad to see that they are being used in such a caring way. The chat room can be a great place to “talk” to fellow survivors. I have many fond memories of great chats over the years.
I would like to take a moment to remind everyone of the chat guidelines. This particularly:
“Please be alive to online safety. Don’t get too personal. Never use your real name or reveal any personal information in our chat room. Do not ask others for their personal details”
http://isurvive.org/join-our-forum/chat-guidelines/
We realize that while chatting it can feel a bit more intimate, as there are one-on-one conversations, or small group conversations, and it can be easy to let some things slip. However, anonymity is still important, even in these conversations. Please be mindful of what you are posting in there. Names and locations shouldn’t be shared in the chat room. This is an important safety measure for everyone.
Thank you all for being here and for helping this place to remain the safe, supportive, caring place that it is.
With care,
Serenity
