Hey Survivors,
Just thought it would be great to communicate about the artwork here in support of our fellow artists.
By the way - I am very impressed with the talent we have among us.

Just had a look at the art work. Wow itโs beautiful I use art sometimes to express what Iโm feeling but itโs no where as good as you all have done. You are all so talented.

Re: In Support Of Our Fellow Artists
thank you, tiki,
i have wanted to share more about my drawing SCARLETT https://isurvive.org/member-artwork/member-artwork/
This is a drawing of Scarlett, the most courageous of the children inside me.
She was created to hold the terror, physical pain, and the shame of sexual abuse.
For 55 years I denied her, tried to kill her, abandoned her and called her 'the evil one'.
I told her she was ugly, unlovable, hopeless, worthless, a liar and scary.
Over the last year and a half, with the help of a good therapist,
I have learned to recognize, accept, love and see her true value and beauty.
Now I know she is the strongest protector in me, my super hero.
My new goal is to help her feel some joy and pride in her scars,
and to honor her as the fierce warrior she is.

A scar is the tattoo of a triumph to be proud of. It says the hurt is over and the wound is closed. It means you conquered the pain, learned a lesson, grew stronger, and moved forward. There is a beauty in my scars that I can see now.

@Inner Fam
from scars: once again you artwork just blows my mind
we need to learn to use the AI tools
from Teacher: I would love to read an artist statement describing in words what you were feeling as you created this
from izzabella: have you seen some of my work on here?

Izzabella, Oh thanks for saying that, we didn't know we could see who they are from by the name. You are so talented! We like the Angels! and the crime scene feels like us! And a lot of faceless people like us! We love the barn, and yeah, we understand Daddy's Girl ... Adults are so fucked up, right?
Teacher, that was a difficult picture to make. That child has 26 subsystems, they all have different pieces of memories. We don't want to remember, but sometimes we can't stop. And all kids come to the front and cry and scream. So, it's difficult to see. And I have to be careful not to let the tears and snot fall on the computer. And we are on the floor a lot rocking or just lying like in your crime scene picture. And when someone remembers a little bit of something, then someone else remembers another bit, and they all come to front in groups, or take it in turns.
Alex and me are the only ones who use words, everyone else is non verbal, so we get on Poe and use Image Prompt GPT to try to find the words to explain what we want. Then we change it because that always missed the important parts, or it's too long, we try and explain the feeling with the pictures. Then we started trying the prompt and we use all the image generators on Poe and Bing and keep changing it to correct it. It can take a few days, but our flashbacks stay for a few days, so it's ok.
When the picture is not good, everyone gets angry and cry more, and sometimes we get a piece of a memory in a picture, but miss our others, and then we lose the detail we wanted in the next picture. I think we did 120 different images to come up with that one.
When the picture is good, we just stare at it for hours, and cry quiet, and keep rocking. our clothes are so wet when we stop crying, but then we go numb, and stare at the picture a few hours more. Then it was finished.
We tried to do that picture a few months ago, but it was never good, it was ok, but not good. I think the AI has learned more since that time, because now that picture shows our feelings.
Now we look at it, we are just numb usually, but sometimes we cry some more. But I think the grown ups understand us more because of the pictures, because they don't get our flashbacks. The grown ups always let us do it when we are busy, they never stop us. I think that is good.
Does that answer the question?
