It's been 12 years since we all lost her

Post by grandma in pain »

I was so afraid that due to being on vacation, being busy and distracted, and then the time difference on top of everything, that I would lose track of everything and forget to post about Lori.

A lot of you never had the pleasure of knowing her. However, many of us that are still here or who left for a period of time and have come back, like myself, did.

It's been 12 years since we lost our beloved Lori. Sometimes it's hard to believe that it's been that long. Then there are other times when it feels as if she's been gone forever. I miss her. I miss her strength, courage and encouragement. I miss her whit and humor. I miss her friendship.

For as long as I'm able to I will keep her memory alive.

Fly high and free, my friend...

what a sweet tribute
thanks for sharing
A scar is the tattoo of a triumph to be proud of. It says the hurt is over and the wound is closed. It means you conquered the pain, learned a lesson, grew stronger, and moved forward. There is a beauty in my scars that I can see now.

grandma in pain,
Yes, I miss Lori, too. I did speak to her once by phone.

Thanks so much grandma in pain for remembering Lori. So grateful.

I miss her too. I just remember her being so strong. So clear and wise. So intelligent and well informed, a true warrior. Kind, patiënt and dedicated. She cared so much. Her heart was bigger than the world.

It's just mind blowing that she is gone. And that it has already been so long. I really want her back. I bet a lot of people do.

Thank you Lori, if you are out there, if you are listening. Thank you for watching over and caring for all of us here when you were alive, for protecting us. I really needed that, it has meant the world to me.

All my love,
EH

EH, you're welcome.

All the words that you used to describe her, they were all so true. And I'm sure she is out there, soaring free and watching over all of us.

I'm not sure if you ever heard, but her husband, Joe passed away a few years after she did. So they are both together, free from their broken bodies 💕💕

RiseandThrive, she really was a wonderful person. Thank you for the hugs
