In the beginning you hate that-
They disguise you.
They oblige you.
They criticize you.
They deny you.
They mystify you.
They stunt you.
They front for you, but fuck you too.

But then you realize-
They shield me.
They see me.
They stop harm from happening to me.
They protect and never neglect me.
They're scared of me.
They're there for me.
They never purposefully hurt me.
They step in for me.
They hold trauma for me.
They make it pleasant for me.

We are all for one and one for all.
No one person takes the fall.
We are in it together personalities and all.

I really liked this, Shivty. That sense of being all in it together, and all parts of us there for a reason, no matter how they act sometimes, is an important one I feel. Thank you for sharing your words and insight!
