hi all,
I just started my DBT “empowerment” group which runs many months after the end of the normal DBT program. Doing some review I feel like I now have much more skill in terms of identifying emotions, regulating, and practicing mindfulness. I also saw other people who went through the program with me there and they also seem to be doing better. Very glad.

Re: DBT empowerment
Hi hermatite, How wonderful that you feel more empowered! Regaining an internal locus of control is so essential to healing, and it sounds like the DBT skills are facilitating that. So happy for you!

Re: DBT empowerment
Awesome! I, too, am doing DBT I find it so helpful. STOP and TIPP are my go tos. You? I can't remember or figure out how to use them when I wake up in trauma at 2 am every day though. I hope you continue to enjoy.
