New :)

Post by Patsfan »

Hello ,
I am new and have been browsing topics . Amazing to see so much support:)
I am a slow learner so I hope I am.posting in the correct place, with the correct label :)
I was prompted to journal about my feelings associated with sadness , which I have done . Of course this has left me feeling sad and alone . Quite a bit out of sorts

When looking inward I see so many terrifying emotions . Today vulnerabilty and shame were my words . I believe one builds the other ...admitting the shameful parts makes me feel so vulnerable but I can't keep hiding . I feel like my shame keeps my pain hidden deep ,so deep I wonder if it will ever be healed . With this shame comes an overwhelming feeling of guilt. Somewhere buried deep within the shame I know I am not to blame but the guilt points at me and tells me that ,I am bad ,that I need to hide this from the world .The guilt sits with the shame and they mingle deep in my mind convincing me to leave them there- so they can control me until it all becomes a fear so strong I run from it or i will drown in it.

This is scary for me to share ......but I could not keep sitting with all these emotions..

Thank you for a space to share

Welcome Patsfan,

Company we can offer. Making the sadness go away, well we can commiserate. This is a very supportive healing community. Take your time and post as you wish. The first post is the scary one. After that if becomes almost normal.

again welcome,
Harmony
