Introducing myself

Post by searchingforspring »

Hello everyone, I'm new here. Looking forward to getting to know people and hopefully feel like I'm in the presence of people who "get" where I'm coming from.

I'm a bit nervous about how many of the forums seem to be viewable without an account... it feels a bit "exposed" :? Is there an easy-access list anywhere where you can see which forums are private and which aren't?

Anyway, I'm sure I'll get used to it all in time. Sending you all wishes of safety and wellness <3

Hello
A warm welcome to you!
I feel safe enough here as long as I carefully leave out information that can identify me. Which I do and which has made it possible to say things that I wouldn't be able to say anywhere else.
May you find what you are looking for.

Hi! Welcome.

New here too. I think a moderator could give a detailed answer and probably will.

What I did was explore as a guest, see what sub forums I can read, then explore as a member and see what new ones are available.

Totally understand your caution.

Once you figure it out it will become easier.

Be well.

Welcome to the forum
think many of us feel that hesitance and nervousness - only recently i felt like asking a mod to delete a post i made (i didnt in the end).

Wishing you well, and hopefully as you see the postings it will offer you some sense of comfort

forums have been wonderful for me and continue to be so - feel understood in a real deep way, often beyond any in real life relationship and my therapist

anyway, i ramble, most welcome

Hi newbies!

FYI we mods can always move a post to a password protected part of the forum. We do not delete posts except if they are duplicates. Sorry. Also if you want to know what is public just open the site without logging in. What you see is what is open for public view. Simple as that!

We welcome you,
Harmony

Hi and welcome, searchingforspring. There is a list of forums only viewable to members in the email that I sent you when I activated your account. You can also find that list here:

https://isurvive.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=40&t=46

And, as Harmony said, we are here to help if you ever have any questions. I'm glad you are here.

With care,
Serenity
