The Sun Is Rising.

It's always when we need it most
That clouds block our view of the sun.
And my life has taught me no amount of reasoning with clouds will move them before they're ready.
So keep an image of the sun close.
Nestled in your head in between everything that makes it dark.
And when you're lost and the world is cold and black.
Head towards the picture.
Know that there is never a time so darkened
That light can't shine through eventually.
The dust will settle, the rays will find you here.
Just a little more time. A little more patience.
Keep dreaming of the better place until you make it real.
But remember to keep close all the parts of your current life that are pure and good.
Everything that inspires you.
Everyone who loves you.
They are already part of the light you seek, leave no luminance behind.
You have to believe that one day you will look back
And see that these fights have made you stronger.
Wiser.
More willing to shine on other people.
One day you will look back and not recognise yourself.
But this girl right now, never forget her.
She fought many battles to bring you here.
She has many fights ahead to get you out.
Trust that one day she may rest and you can rise.
She's always part of you. but she has more than earned her break.
Like you, the sun will rise soon.
Don't give up on it with such haste.

I don't know what happened that made your weekend so rough, but the sense I get from your poetry is you have a lot of Hope for better things to come and that's very good.
