Fleur
Sorry that the helicopter noise is triggering to you. Good that you shared with pdoc. Hope that EMDR. Could address this in future.

Dental work—- my fave! Congrats for doing it. Hope pain subsides in a timely manner.

Dear there

Thank you for writing - especially as you are enjoying a vacation

Now that I know from where all my symptoms originate re helicopters, I'm hoping I can return to reality faster

Still have a peculiar sensation in part of my tongue and lip. Gum is tender where filling repaired, but all else back to "normal" this morning

Really grateful for reasonably lengthy slumber. Was desperately needed

When I was assessed for EMDR, I was asked my goals around admission. One I did not say relates to childhood emotional impact. With pdoc yesterday, I recalled isolated examples of parental abuse. Affected me such that extra sh occurred - if Dad saw blood, he'd walk away. I use the word "extra," because some was a deliberate choice whilst I used the littlest room

Consequently, have awoken to fresh pain

Wishing you and Tula a wonderful time

Hi Fleur,

Wow, thanks for sharing how you see me.
If I was 1/2 that I’d be pleased indeed.

The trigger you described sounds a difficult one, but glad you’ve identified it.
Hopefully knowing can lead to strategies and coping well.

Really hope the EMDR program will be helpful.

Gentle hugs,
