Drawing and writing

Post by Booklover »

I find it so hard to share what I’m feeling so tend to write down what I’m feeling but even that can’t always express my true emotions so I draw. I’m rubbish (not like the people in our art Gallery) but I really find it helps me.

Hi Booklover

I'm not so great at drawing either - but I like to think we all have unique styles that make each of us stand apart.
The great thing about isurvive is that there are no judgements here ;)

If you'd like to share some of your work then please send it attached in an email to me.
You are important

drawing can be much freer of the inner critic than writing for me.
it helps me even more to draw on large or even newsprint paper. the sweeping of my arm helps with release.
for me, doing art has some freedom of physical expression.
All women are beautiful. Period.
I deserve better than survival.
