Miss America by day by Marylin Vandebur

Post by dalx »

I was recommended by my therapist to read "Miss America by day" written by Marylin Vandebur

It is an autobiography of her life as Miss america accompanied by her "night child" the child of incest (father) for 18 years.

She write about her experience, the life she lived as a result, and her healing journey.

I related so much and found it so validating.

It is through that book that I actual found this site.

Thanks for the recommendation dalx,

I ordered it from Amazon. I can relate to being very high functioning during the day and in private living very differently.

with care,
