Re: One happy moment, every day
Had a happy moment coming home from a walk with my husband just now and seeing our entrance all covered in orange and yellow thunbergia vine mixed with the lilac morning glory. Kokoschka
..but god bless the child that's got his own... (Billie Holiday)

Re: One happy moment, every day
Well, this morning we sat down for breakfast and the garden filled with Starlings and we had three Goldfinches on one of our feeders, and Starlings on our other two. A Magpie joined moments later but didn't stop to feed.
Watching the birds like that just seems to stop time. I get so drawn into the moment
And to do that with the rest of my family and enjoy it together particularly as we started our day was really nice
(I've probably said this before though!!! )

Thanks Kokoschka, and how lovely the entrance sounds. That would make me happy too.
Crow, the birds are facinating to stop and watch sometimes.

Kokoshka,
I'll have to google 'thunbergia'. I like the word name!
Coconuts, That's so sweet about your son and his friend.
Crow, Birds can be so intriguing, and in moments you share with loved ones.
Happy this morning because I am finding more freedom as I face fears, wherever they came from.

Fear robs us of our joy.. halts us in our tracks... stops progress. But it's something we all face with various levels of courage.

Re: One happy moment, every day
Probably more of a funny moment...
My daughter is doing live school lessons remotely via MS Teams, and her English teacher sings the register (well, she sings most of the lesson). Usually the kids just post in the chat to answer, but our connection seems to be lagging so chat isn't working properly, so my daughter unmuted to answer. I then said to her "you should have answered like this; (and then sung) goooooood afternoon miiiiiiiiissss!"
The teacher then said "wow, thank you whoever that was singing to me!" - we then realised that my daughter had not muted her microphone!!!
My daughter was mortified and then cried because she was embarrassed. I thought it was all rather funny... just not her getting upset though.
