Stubbornly tries and tries again with a piece that's just the right light blue and seems the right shape. But isn't. Drats.

Shakes puzzle box and something rattles inside.

Awkwardly bumps table and seven pieces fall off. Scrabbles around on floor to retrieve them.

Flattens hands on puzzle and carefully slips it back to the center of the table. Smiles at watercolor and starts helping to pick up the pieces.

Smiles back and thanks coconuts, sits back down. Pours glasses of iced tea. Comments that the red berries on the shrub outside the window look pretty in the sunlight.

Finds one more puzzle piece stuck in chair. Also looks at red berries’ beauty.

Leans out window and plucks a berry from the bush. Gentle squeezes it. It's warm and soft but not too soft. Points to a bird eating a berry. Lifts eyebrows and pops the berry in my mouth. Yum

Remarks that it's nice of the birds to leave us some. Samples a berry, too. Tart but tasty!

Fidgets with a puzzle piece.

Opens cupboard pulls out a bowl and a bit of raw cane sugar, plucks a bunch of berries, rinses them off, and puts them in the bowl then sprinkles on the sugar. Sets them on the counter and then comes back over to watercolor. Gently turns the puzzle piece the right direction to indicate how to put it in. Then smiles and looks around for that last piece

Gets down on all fours to search for last puzzle piece on the floor.
