I'm a believer!

I just wanted to say I'm new to this forum, this will be my third post after only joining yesterday. I wanted to say how already I feel so much better about myself. Reading all the positiveness and seeing all the kindness of the people in this forum, I truly believe I may have found the sanctuary I was longing for. A place I can be understood, heard and appreciated and loved for who I am. I never thought an internet forum could help me and I really only joined this place out of desperateness and impulse. I really really NEEDED someone to talk to as I have been going through a dark place. I joined here casually but already I can see the light, the hope and all the kindness from the wonderful SOULS on this forum. It is early days for me to be saying this but I already feel so much safer and happier just being here!
It breaks my heart reading what some members of this forum have had to endure, including myself. But it really lightens my soul to see all the support, kindness, care and LOVE amongst these people toward each other, including myself. It really is true that the kindest souls have been through the darkest places and suffered the most pain. I really believe this place can help me to recover and considering the horrific abuse I endured and the heart breaking after effects it had on me, my life and my entire family, I truly feel strength just by communicating with you guys. You have already given me hope and strength I never thought I could ever had. You have given me a surge of hope in healing. I believe in this forum and I really believe you guys can help me to heal and support me as I will help you to heal and support you too.
