i really recommend Drama of the Gifted Child by Alice Miller. Powerful amazing book.

Alice Miller makes perfect sense to me and I say that about no body else. I have read all her books now except for Pictures of Childhood [1986], most of them multiple times, and am probably her biggest fan. People who enjoyed Drama [1979, 1997] would enjoy her other books which expand upon and clarify her ideas set out in Drama but the themes are the same in all her books. Her website is also excellent so check it out; I recommend starting with the readers' mail and Alice's replies.
