McBride, Will I ever be good enough...

Post by Asvery »

Just bought this book. I realised it was dead suitable for me when I thought what my mother would say about me buying it! She would disparage me and the book and make out I was being ridiculous and exaggerating the situation. Then I thought about the fact that a genuinely loving parent would -- I imagine -- be concerned about their child buying this book, not contemptuous.

I've never heard of this book, and it sounds like a good read.

Well done Asvery for listening to your own needs instead of ghosts and buying the book anyway. I really hope you get a lot out of it.

...and to answer the question... Yes, you are very much 'good enough'.
