Miss this place soooo badly

I have no words. I want to feel the safety and comfort that I had in my safe haven with my T. I don't know where to get it from now. I didn't think it would be this difficult. This place is the only constant for me the past several years. I would not be alive if it weren't for isurvive. How do I fill this void?

Did you find the cards from T?

Did you call T and ask for a referral. I am certain she would be very supportive. We did lots and lots of web search to find our current T. We called and made an appointment and she helped us so much just in that one phone call. I hope you can find a T. It will not be the same. It will be different but it could be very good in a new way.

We have had 4 T in the past 4 years. It has been like becoming more and more and more focused. Our first T was just general T for trauma and CPTSD. Then EMDR T. Then Sensorimotor T. Now DID T. When we started we did not even know we had PTSD or CPTSD. It took several years to get to this point. I think it has been super beneficial to have worked through T and get to this point.

I mention all this just to share that we have had the experience of finding a super T. Over time maybe we will have different needs but for now this is working.

I can't find my cards. I have had emdr with my previous T. Made a lot of progress but apparently not enough. I'm afraid of trusting another T.
