Love Chases Away The Demons

Love Chases Away The Demons

I carry you in my heart with me
I carry you in my heart
And no one can take you away
I only have to close my eyes
And there you are, smiling, in front of me
And the truth is that nothing can ever really be lost

I am wrapped in love
My cocoon is love
And inside, I heal
And inside, I change
And inside, I welcome back all the broken pieces of my heart
And the truth is that nothing can ever really be destroyed

And when I die
If it is today, or tomorrow, or 60 years from now
I will hold up my arms to my Creator
And I will joyfully return to my true home
And my body will dissolve
And grow the flowers
That feed the butterflies
And the truth is that nothing ever really dies

And the truth is that at the bottom, and at the center, there is only love
And love chases away the demons
"But I tell you life is sweet, in spite of the misery."

"Although the world is full of suffering, it is also full of the overcoming of it."

Inspiring and wonderful!
The basic rule of dysfunctional families everywhere: "Don't talk, don't trust, don't feel." And here we are talking, trusting, and feeling! Every time we do, it's a small victory.
