Hymn

Post by there »

Silly sadness,
shouldn't be,
but it's what I feel.

And had this
harm passed me,
scars needn't heal.

As I feel this,
as I see,
a scar is living me.

then a balmy kiss
is pressed on me,
in sleep relieving me.

How do I find all I might miss?
deep is death.
I dig deeper, deep as sea.

Now these tough scars I bless
...between breaths...
their frame-a splint, a brace- saving me.
All women are beautiful. Period.
I deserve better than survival.

Your poem seems to speak to me in this very quiet and thoughtful place I'm in at the moment. Thank you for sharing it.
