Unexplained silence

I usually perfect my poems with multiple drafts, but this is a raw edit that I have thrown together today.
I dedicate this one to all those who have as an adult, mistreated me and suddenly cut me out of their lives, as if I didn't exist... with no explanation or reason why!

Unexplained silence

You choose to ignore me, you were once a friend,
Words cannot convey, neither thoughts comprehend,
No reason for your silence, it seems I'm the adversary,
Your insecurities projected, but not mine to carry,

I stand in your midst, but it's like I am not there,
What happened in your mind to act without a care?
I may never understand why you assign to me the blame,
But whatever it is you think, I won't be part of your game.
