Just sending you a bunch of well wishes, Fleur. :) Hope the side effects have grown easier for you, and days of rest and food and care have been steadying for you.

Thank you GrowingTree, Dancingfish, coconuts, for writing

Discharged on Sunday, not had much rest or food since - bowel is really playing up

Saw T today, much better session than we had six weeks ago

According to the mood questionnaire, I have symptoms of depression - a fact I'd like to deny

Kind regards to all

Hi Fleur,

I hear you on wanting to deny the symptoms. But, health problems, especially the types of problems you've been having, can cause depression even in people who've never had anything like it before. So, depression makes sense. I'm sorry you've had so much to deal with and really hope that you feel better soon. Sending care and support.

Oh, Fleur,
Just wish it could lighten up on the challenges you’re facing.
Hoping you get some quality rest and feel more like eating as physical symptoms recede.

HI fleur, i am not sure what your bowel symptoms are. Charcoal pills are digestible and help with loose bowels a lot. I know some people who use it and it really helps.

If okay, I would like to pray for you. I really do want you to experience goodness in your life

Thank you NN for making it kinda be normalised

Hello there - I'd really, really like your thoughts to be so - lightening up would be great; thanks

That would be appreciated GrowingTree - prayers are powerful. IBS means I have no idea how or when etc. Your post sent me to the medicine cupboard - charcoal is powdery. Suspect I'd best replace soonest

Okay - so today I saw a gastroenterologist. He agrees that I ought not have more scopes at present. However, he will keep my place open for next 12 months in case something of significance arises. That will save several months of being back on the wait list. Our government has sent bowel test kits to people over a certain age. Specialist strongly advised to do the occult blood test. Now, where did it go?

I was scheduled to have a bone marrow biopsy next week. I cancelled. Research and nurses suggest it would not be especially useful. We know from blood test results what is occurring with iron. Stores high. Circulation low. Means I get puffed doing least exertion. Red cells have odd shapes - which might explain odd pains - as those cells get stuck (no idea what correct medical term is) so I feel the ouch

Right now my head hurts. No reason as I've had much fluid plus food and not hit myself in any fashion. Finger massage helps in places yet makes pain worse in others. Currently savouring very dark chocolate so that might ease everything

Checked with the hematology department and I'm booked on 11/11 with my preferred Dr

Will need to see whether pdoc is available first Thursday in November as the Tuesday (regular appt) falls on a public holiday for a horse race

Sounds like lots of plans for testing and that drs are trying at least to help. Hoping relief comes and stays. Hoping calm and peace do as well.

I was diagnosed with IBS. From experience, the doctor whose method I use and I have the most success with is Dr John Sarno. He has a high success rate with IBS. TMSwiki.org has a success story database. Just thought I would put this out there in case you want to check it out.

I will keep you in my prayers.
