Sigh. Thanks, recover for your kind understanding. Much appreciated.
Have a den cold. Going to see a new therapist in 90 minutes. Am taking Uber.
Will probs run into the pharmacy across the street from her office.

A friend is being a jerk to me no matter how many times I've explained it to her. But never ends it's like my whole life somebody's going to be a jerk to me pretty regularly.

Really am tired, bleary eyed. Will look for echinacea tea or capsules at store.
Need to feel better about me.

Hello there,

So great to hear new T is off to a good start and more manageable rate by the sounds of it!

You are a good example to me of practicing self care. No one is perfect at it 100% of the time. But you always come back to it. Maybe that’s what really matters? The perseverance and resilience?

Empathizing with the cold. (or flu here maybe?)
May it run its course as fast as possible for both of us.

Leaving softest tissues, soothing throat lozenges, honey for warm drinks and a blanket to snuggle in.

CT,
Not you too! ?l sorry you're done some kind of cold or flu.
Paraphernalia for cold survival is welcome. I actually have all of those things LOL.
I hope you have enough self care items to help you get over it. You have my Nowmpathy.
What have you been doing? I am f ull up on movies. Can't watch another one right now.
The terrible problem to have huh?

Just been doing a little research on complex PTSD, which new t says I probably have. Glorious!
Already know new I have complicated grief. Feeling a bit overwhelmed, understatement. And of course, to keep the party going, poverty is called a trauma to. I knew that but just read it again. Yikes..

Really need to do more than just say I need a vacation. There's some money for m to do this. Wanted to invite a friend and I will tomorrow. She tends to invite me places and then it doesn't materialize. She has health problems so a kind of give her a pass.

Now to luxuriate in cold symptoms.

Staying in to rest today, too. Cancelled physical therapy appointment.
Started Therapy Journal in my email for therapy required to keep one.
A couple of Revisited realizations are deepening.

Feels like an immensity of self care I have to do. I have some resentment about that. So understandable. Probably will list items on here later.

Thank you for reading.
Sending hope and strength to others here.

Hello dear there,

I have been reading, catching up. There is such a world weariness in your posts right now, (if that's OK to mention?), which is so utterly understandable (& I think many of us share at this time of year) and yet, still that undercurrent of strength and continued pushing forwards, finding the positives, working hard on self care, seeking out the epiphany and revelatory moments.

This is a time for the new year to settle upon us. We need to recover from whatever christmas or family time or whatever has triggered in us and hunker down through the weather, the bugs and corral the enormous strength that is required to face a new year. Another year, on this path, our journey, however we choose to describe it...

As ever, only gentle self support and nurturing, self protection seem like the most helpful tonics...

I'm reopening (Ha....) my magical apothecary & dispensing one mahoosive bottle of love, inner strength, peace and calm for you.

I so admire you, learn so much from you and care deeply.

Your friend,

Jitterbug
