I never learned autonomous self control, but..,

Post by EasyStreet »

I’ve quit my glasses of red wine in the evening. I’ve been able to breathe better at night (cpap user) and am getting sleep and feeling better.

Small but huge! I think I’m allergic!

Be well

Big change! You may be allergic to added sulfates in most wines.

Hi EasyStreet,

Good for you for making a change. Changing habits is huge. It is like rewiring your brain.

I recently completely kicked my daily coca cola. It feels freeing. No more chemicals and sugar for me. More importantly it means I can do it. I can change.

Hi Harmony!

Thanks for your words of support! Habits have always been hard for me to break. In fact, I'm probably not out of the woods yet, but I have a great deal of faith in persistence.

I'll never quit caffeine, till the docs take it away from me. I love it too much. Assuming your daily beverage was the only caffeine you were getting. That would be a huge step for me.

In either event any victory is a big one, and I'm glad for you.

Be well and be ok!

Dear EasyStreet,

Oh no that coca cola was in addition to coffee every morning. I agree about caffeine especially coffee. It is a must. Baby steps.

With cola, you’ve got the sugar buzz or the fake sweetener, I switched to seltzer. Wish I could just do plain water, but I like the “bite” of the bubbles.

Very technical here on the beverage discussion

Have an awesome day, Harmony! I’m drinking coffee tight now!
