Cajun dancing
I don't know what it is, but I'm going to try it tonight with a friend. And a hoedown. At a fiddler's convention. Outdoors. Wish me luck!

Re: Cajun dancing
Yes change is a good positive transition,
Sounds like fun. I love the cajun music. Don't trip even if it is fall. Let us know how the experience turned out. Embracing change is all part of healing.
Let the good times roll,
Harmony

Re: Cajun dancing
Thanks, Harmony
It was a beautiful night. We drove to a rural arts center where quite a few people were camping for the fiddler festival. We wandered around the fairy-lit buildings for a while to get some food, then watched a fiddling contest (12 very good bands; some traveled hundreds of miles to compete). Then we went to the dancing pavilion where the band played cajun music, and eventually we got up our courage to dance with everyone else. We were a bit self-conscious, but it didn't matter.
