Hi, has anyone ever watched something TV or movie that ended up triggering them? It triggers you but you go into it either not caring or thinking “let me check this out, let me see this character study” and… it’s a absolute disaster.
I hate when I do that to myself. I did it last night to myself and fell apart.

Sorry that happened to you, Sherlock. Triggers are such misery!
A lot of my triggers are relational and kind of metaphoric. So, often it's interactions with people that wreck me.
A few years ago I learned the hard way that I need to avoid wildlife shows. It was the predator aspect. I love meerkats but a certain show nearly did me in.
I hope you feel much better soon.

I also triggered myself while watching a movie last night. It's nice to know that others are having the same issue.

Sherlocked,
Even though we are survivors, we are still people, and still curious about TV shows, movies, books, etc.
