Hi everyone
I'm new to this online support group.. And even as I write this I feel emotions of fear and anxiety, because being on this group means "acknowledging" or admitting,, coming face to face with my childhood abuse. Im hoping that this forum will help me and empower me to heal so that I can be a better mom, whole human being... It is most painful and frustrating to have this black hole in my childhood. Where I know something happened for a long period of time.. But I don't know when and how it started and how it stopped.. I just know it stopped.
I have only told my life partner and my brother in the last year, (apart from my therapist)., after keeping it buried inside for more than 30 years. But how do you explain something you don't remember or you yourself don't understand..
