Site upgrades

Post by Serenity »

Hi everyone,

I am excited to inform you that we will be having some much-needed maintenance and upgrades performed very soon. As such, there may be brief outages for the next couple of days. If you experience this, please try again later.

Also, you will notice that the site will look a bit different when the work is done. The basic layout will remain mostly unchanged, but the coloring will be different. We’ve done our best to ensure that things are as similar as possible. The good news is that some features and functions that have been lost over the last couple of years will be back in full working order.

Please know that you can reach out to either Jonesy (jonesy@isurvive.org) or myself (serenity@isurvive.org) anytime if you have questions or need assistance with anything.

Hi everyone

Please be patient - we realise things look very new and different right now, but this is very much a work in progress.
Sorry for any discomfort you may be feeling, but we are on it.

Will post again when we have more information.

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to give an update. This project has become bigger than anticipated, but we are still working on it.

You'll notice when posting that the trigger warning system is a bit different than before. For now it is defaulted to "None". That is one of the things we are still working on, but it will take time. In the meantime we ask that everyone please be sure to select a trigger warning for each post. We will have this fixed as soon as we can.

Hi everyone,

I'm happy to announce that the bulk of the work is now done! There may be some minor tweaks here and there, and of course the usual routine maintenance. And you may need to clear the cache on your Internet browser to view properly and access all of the features. We hope that you all like the new look.

Hi everyone,

Just to let you know that our server is being upgraded to ensure we offer a current and secure Operating System which supports newer cPanel features.

This important upgrade will take place on July 30th at 10pm local server time. During the upgrade, you will experience website downtime lasting up to 4 hours.

We understand the importance of minimising disruptions and will do everything possible to ensure completion of the upgrade swiftly and efficiently.

Should you need anything, please reach out to either Serenity or me.
