Fear: Hey, Feelings!!! Joy, Sorrow, Anger!!! Somebody wants to feel you!
Anger: Ok! I'm here! Feel me! Plenty of bad stuff to feel me for!
Me: Ok.
Anger: Don't I make you feel better!?
Me: Yes.
Anger: Right?
Me: And no.
Anger: I can protect you from you Sorrow, even from Fear! I can make you feel powerful!
Me: Feel powerful, yes.
Anger: That's a bad thing?
Me: No, but it's not quite the same as being powerful.
Anger: Fair point. Did I just say that?
Me: You're not always unreasonable.
Anger: True, like when I alert you to a boundary intrusion.
Me: Like then!
Anger: Or when I motivate you to change something unjust!
Me: And then!
Anger: I'm useful at times!
Me: Yeah, it's just problematic when you want to rule me. And other people get put off. Not that they're all perfect. They sure aren't.
Anger: Thank you!
Me: And I don't really need protection from my other Feelings, like Sorrow, or Fear.
Anger: But I'm real and I know you feel me!
Me: I feel you. And I need to feel them, too sometimes. Not because they feel good. Sometimes you feel much better than they do.
Anger: I'm here for you!

Sorrow: I know. I know. I'm not your favorite. Doesn't mean I don't have my uses.
Me: Such as...
Sorrow: Hmm, let me feel.
Me: Waiting....
Sorrow: Sigh. Ok, how about when you realize that when you feel a lot of me, it means you can also feel a lot of Joy!?
Me: I let you into my heart to hear this?
