Hi there, thank you for the new look forum. there are a couple of things I used to use that I can't see at the moment, not sure if I'm just missing them. (This on chrome on an android phone, so could be mobile layout.)

- when viewing a list of forum topics, I can see who made the last post but there's no topic author displayed
- I used to go to the unread or my threads areas ("hamburger" menu now, I believe ), see the list, and there would be a link to the latest post for each thread. Now it takes you to the first post, then you can go to the last page, and then scroll down.

No worries if it's just set up differently now, and sorry if I'm missing something obvious. Thanks for your time.

Hello Vince

I still don't get private email notification of responses to threads
Last night there were 20 or so new posts listed
I was too tired to read all
But this morning there were only 4 posts under new posts
Am wondering if posts can be rated as being new for more than a day
Or if there can be an unread posts or something else so I can track threads please, even if I miss a day or 3?

I have, what appears to be an issue with login to the site. I login in once and my name appears to show that i am logged in but the forums are not visible. I have to login in a second time to see the forums,

We have moved over to HTTPS for security and encryption.

Your cookies may not be setting correctly.

The only way around this would be to force all sessions to expire and set fresh new cookies.

Ok, I believe I have resolved it.

Rather then bore you with highly technical details, moving you to HTTPS also moved a digit in the backend.

Parts still saw the old digit, others saw the new.

HTTP runs on port 80
HTTP runs on port 443

I forgot to tell phpBB the new port as you don't normally need too.
