Pete Walker - CPTSD

Post by freedomfighter »

Just wanted to share a book I read which I would highly recommend.

Pete Walker - Complex PTSD: From Surviving to Thriving.

Covers so much, makes so much sense and has been really helpful.

He also has a website with loads of articles on:

I second this recommendation sooooo much!! This book has been my best friend. I think it's a wonderful and gentle starting place for survivors. And it's always on my nightstand. I refer to it constantly. The toolkit worksheets in the back of the book are so helpful. There's so much reference material there and quick help guides for when you're in the middle of a panic attack or flashback. The author really gets it. He recognizes all childhood abuse being very valid. The book reaches everyone from where ever they are in their recovery and from all walks of life. I highly recommend.
