The Spider

She crawls beneath my eyelids when I sleep
And dances in my dreams
Spins her web between my memories
And repairs the tearing seams
I watch her many slender legs
Tread carefully through me
I hear a whisper calling from the darkness of my mind
Watch the dancer not the steps
Spiders always tie with lies.
My spider what a pretty web you weave
She says to me "my darling things are never as they seem"

This poem is basically an expression of my trying to distinguish truth from lies.
The lies and continuous denial of any issues in our "perfectly normal" home.
A little angsty, a little Emo, but feelings are feelings I guess lol.
