Acceptance Of Life

Yesterday has long been gone,
Tomorrow has yet to come.
Sun will rise,
Moon will shine,
And I will wander throughout the sky.

Stars shine on me, I plead.
For darkness has surrounded me.
Tree's and grass way down below.
Why does planet earth seem so hollow?

Roaming through mars and venus,
My thoughts stray to one old genius,
Who brought my heart together,
And made me know I'd live till forever.

Oh dear self, I hold you so tight.
Please do not forsake me throughout this night.
Dawn may not be near.
So please open your arms, for I am here.

Take me to your special place.
Place me among the stars and moon.
Allow the sun to burn me whole,
And the clouds to bring some cold.

Allow my life to be lived.
I am no longer a kid.
Wise but young,
We will shine like the sun.
