Another Planet

Far away I go,
Invisible I feel.

Words are jumbled up,
And my perfect grammar is in ruins.

My eyes are wide,
As if I am a newborn to this world.

My delicate being is startled by everything,
As my adult body feels insignificant.

Laughter, voices, bells,
Are heard by ears that don't belong to me.

Brain, my brain, it can not, register,
Dissociation is the only word I know.
