Depression

The black hole swirls and draws within its grasp
Pulling everything down into the abyss
Soon there is nothing but sparseness
As darkness envelopes the mind and body
Frozen in time and wasting unfettered
Torn scraps left behind in the dirt
Numbness and mindlessness complete
Dissolved and scattered amongst the chaos

tabby, I'm sorry you struggle with this. I can relate. But, wow, you really have a way with words. You've created a fascinating visual which sucks me down into that hole where you're stuck, just pieces amid the black. That is so creative and stunning.
