Layers of Memories:
Layers of memories stretching back
Through those years I thought were not there
Each layer covered up by the next
Until I am brave enough to peel it back
Layers of memories so tightly bound
You can’t even peek to see what is coming
Packaged away for so many years
Holding a multitude of evil secrets
Layers of memories yet to be lived
Suspended in time and never experienced
Layers of feelings not yet felt
Sights not seen and sounds that are mute
Layers of memories that represent
A childhood lived from minute to minute
Fragments of time that have become
Layers of fear and horror and pain

Layers of Memories

UAD-holy shit Sherlock....that is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!! From what I've read of your poetry, I like this one the best so far. You understand so well to be able to write like that......so sorry you were hurt UAD. I can feel/relate to your pain and everything you said about the "Layers of Memories."

Hey Spike,
Thanks so much for the compliment - the fact that you relate so well to it shows me that you have also been deeply hurt, and I am sad for what was done to you...
Thanks again, and I hope all is well
