Glad you spoke to the supervisor about it. :)

Didn't know you worked at multiple libraries. Do you have to bring a lot of stuff with you?

Hello there

Firmly telling student what TO do is emphasised in all classes I ever sat. You put it in positive - please place feet on floor. All kudos to you for standing ground.

When son was at primary school where lots of parents helped, it was interesting to observe behaviour. One parent said "don't run inside"; another " walking feet only indoors": first person was ignored but second had desired effect. Just one example.

Using "please" and "thank you" - was another fascinating observation. Our voices actually change when we are polite. Seemed most effective as in (name) please ...

I am learning that whenever we miss or skip something as a child, the lesson/s repeat. My T last time said about watching my words, actions. Oh oh oh ... Yes, I get what she meant. Being mindful is one thing but thinking ahead, or taking a breath, counting etc before responding - I'm finding very difficult. T won't accept my "I don't know" and I am beginning to investigate myself

May you and Tula enjoy today and be safe from current weather conditions

Much caring (too late to pocket ride?)

ws, I work at different libraries.
Yes, I often bring materials, packing them into my wheelie.

Fleur, Thanks for your support. I definitely was triggered by A. She is 9 now. I've had her in my class for 2 years. She was so warm and playful, hugging me, before.
She is moving away from me. I feel the mother of a teenager who is rebelling. I got triggered by her being rude and treating me like I wasn't even in charge.
I give kids a lot of choices, and opportunities to lead, even lead me. She just had a real attitude.

My brother has helped me pull out of Trigger Town this evening.

Just bought a webinar course for$197. It's about doodling for fun & profit, co-led by a guy I've taken webinar stuff from b4 and a cartoonist who publishes in The New Yorker magazine. It has several classes, and bonuses. It's their beta version, so they're building it with this class.

I would have hesitated in the past, but I'm going for it. Yes, it's not cheap, but I need it to get growing. I don't want to second guess myself about it.

Haven't given up on leading yoga nidra, either.

Thank you for reading.

Dear there

Children can change attitude very quickly. May this lass return to her "norm" next class

Webinar? Wow! You are adventurous. Sounds like a couple of people who know their stuff, passing on tips ... May your online classes be profitable

Nice that your brother is taking you away. Is it for overnight/weekend?

Surely trust all is well in your region. Although Hurricane Florence is now at a lower category, I imagine storm damage will be potentially extensive

Hi, Fleur,

I'm not affected by Hurricane Flo here. It's hitting the southeast and I'm in the northeast. I feel for those affected.

Trigger Town was just a metaphor. My brother helped me by talking to me about triggering things. Would be nice if he took me somewhere but not likely :)

Webinar, yes. Four Tuesday evenings coming up, with expert guidance and attention. $197 is a lot, but I think it's worth it.

I really hope you get rest and feel better, Fleur.

Dear there

Fifty dollars per session is actually quite a reasonable charge for professional services - says she for whom that is my approx supermarket spend. It is a lot to pay upfront

Trust you and brother had useful chat. I did misunderstand, apologies. Hopefully, one day he might literally whisk you to someplace meaningful for you

Much caring

there,
Sounds like you're going to be dreaming of doodling and creating your own characters and stories pretty fast. :)
I'm wondering if they will be human or animals or plants or inanimate things coming alive or...

Giving Tula pets and hoping you'll have a lovely weekend.

Dear there

Can be sooo frustrating, annoying, to lose posts. I lost a couple because I forgot to tap "submit"; after all this time! Felt truly silly

Sorry to know you are not so great. May you quickly return to 100% good health

Please do whatever you find helpful when you are " slightly" unwell. May we both have excellent sleep

Caring hugs
