Thank you hummingbird!!!! I feel we have such a similar journey and am grateful for all your shares when I was active on this site. I no longer receive email alerts and this has been the first in a long time. I will always think of you and wonder how you are and hope you are well.
I found that I was "going under" by focusing on all my pain and getting involved in everyone else's here. I know it had its purpose and was wonderfully helpful, the few I "got close" to. I feel a bit of a traitor for "dropping out" and not hanging with you all and supporting and encouraging. But I really stayed in depression focusing on everyones pain...... I am a bit of an empath!!!
Anyway, hope you understand and although we have never met, I feel like we have....who knows, we could be neighbors and not even know it.
I know I can come back here if I feel a need and all of those others or new others will always be here. Very comforting. And, I often reflect in my darkest moments about those of you on isurvive that are truly suffering and then I do not feel so alone.
