Fleur,
Thanks, yes, a first for her. She usually pulls and twists. Hope it's a trend!

there,
I think I can feel joy today. Thank you for starting this thread so long ago and now it is here for me to join in!
I've learned that joy for me is when I can't help but smile.
I felt joy when I woke up today to my chihuahua mix, Sandy, sitting on my chest, and all I could see was the silhouette of her ears.

One my goals in T is to find more joy in everyday moments.
I like to read everyone's glimpses of joy, so thank you.

Oh how I love cats, too! The noises they make to entertain themselves. The looks in their eyes.
I had a cat(s) in my life from teenage hood through my late thirties. I miss them, but luckily, I visit my niece-kitty quite a bit. She's a feisty one.
This made me think of another moment of joy.
I was once visiting someone out on a screened in porch. I was admiring the chickens, hunched over, watching them walk around, when I suddenly had a cat jump on to my back, climb up to my shoulders, and perch itself at the base of my neck. Just as if I had transformed into a scratching post or small tree.
What a feeling those four legs, whiskers, and tail gave me.
I just stayed in that supporting position until she jumped down. Happy to be of her assistance.
Give Soxy some scratches under the chin for me.

:)

Dog ears silhouette, Soxy scratching his post, a clever cat jumping up on ws, joy!
Feeling some joy that it doesn't feel cold this morning.
Joy in reading others' joys, too!

There is joy in my heart when I think of spring being just around the corner. I love watching the natural world come alive again. Just beautiful. <3 <3
Where I am, the Japanese Maple trees are blooming pink and white flowers.
There aren't any leaf buds, yet, but I know they will appear soon.
