How about the joy of being who I was meant to be, who I really am, my essence minus the impact of abuse. Joy is just being free to be me. Joy is being satisfied with who I am in the world. Joy is being there for others in so many ways. I get joy in sharing with others. Joy for me is cooking, making crafts, by giving gifts, by listening, by caring and sometimes by loving.
