"Auditory Imprints"

Some of you will have read about this before,for those who have not,it is whatever you heard and saw
and felt when very young--in fact,too young to reject what was going on around you,so it gets embedded
in the brain without our knowledge,and we go through life thinking it is US!
Anyway,lately I was repotting
a houseplant in usual exasperated manner,when THIS came out of my mouth: "Just do it yourself Jim,just
do it yourself." It wasn't till it was out,that I recognised what I had done; I had taken over the 2 insanes
imprint,I was doing this myself,WITHOUT the imprint controlling me!
But I must mention what I believe
was a precursor to this, even though I live alone,lately I have been switching the T.V. off for 2or3 hrs,
and 'facing myself' without any distractions,plus,it is also good for anything or any behavior you are
trying to change,or even something you wish to learn,within the silence,what you need to learn will go
deeper-much deeper.
