Inner child

Post by Mamallama » Thu Nov 29, 2018 10:46 am

I think I just met my child for the first time. It was strange. I got very tired and was talking like a child, I’d say around 4 years old and I really wanted to tell someone ‘big’ that I loved them and I curled up on the sofa under a duvet and went to sleep for a little bit.

Does this sound like I was in child mode?

Feels bizarre.

It sounds like an inner child, to me.
Does it still feel bizarre to you, now?
Getting in touch with the different parts of ourselves can be disconcerting. But I find that it is so helpful in times of great pain to understand there are parts that are not suffering and can help soothe me.

I think your inner child may have been telling the adult you that you are loved. I think that's wonderful. <3

Yes, Mamallama,
Sure seems like you met up with a child part of you.
Sounds so nice that this child is loving and expressive.

Thanks for reminding me that my inner child has love to share (even with me).
