Won't say too much here. Army vet, enjoyed that quite a bit. Childhood, not so much. Mom was a bitch, she'd manipulate my dad to violence. Army saved my life, I was shattered before I joined.

Shit got brutal overseas, though that was alot easier to deal with; army does a pretty good job of teaching you how to suppress shit and keep things together. VA mental health is a joke though. Thankfully there's the vet center, most counselors are vets, and they have a lotta leeway. Mostly over and dealt with the combat trauma.

Suppressed my childhood for 15 years, the other day I stumbled on a thread about childhood sexual abuse, and it just broke the fuckin damn. Thankfully I was never sexually abused. Hit the bottle pretty hard that night, been an emotional rollercoaster the past week though.

Kinda feels good to feel somethin after bein so damn numb for so damn long, even if it does hurt like hell.
