Hello, I’m new.

Hello everyone, I’m so thankful I found this place.
I’m 52 and have been repressing my molestation for 42 years.
I spoke to a therapist and told my husband, so after 42 years I broke the silence. I have never uttered these words in my life, and it was scary, but relieving. I have a lot of work to do.
I’m not sure how much to share on the first “hello” to everyone, I’m just taking baby steps into my next phase, which scares me.

The good news is that you are taking steps. Sometimes your steps will be to the side, and occasionally there might be some temporary backward steps necessary to avoid being stuck. The important thing is to keep moving generally forward.
