Hello from newbie Tamsin

Hello everyone, I am a 60 yr old woman who was severely emotionally abused and neglected in childhood. I also suffered a serious sexual assault by a stranger when I was 8, but told no-one until I was 20, thinking that it was my own fault!
My parents have both been dead for a number of years, but would I imagine be horrified to know that I now consider they were abusive.

I have never thought of myself as a victim of abuse until recent years - but I think I do need to acknowledge it and explore how it has contributed to making my life quite challenging over the years.
