Just wanted to say hi and introduce myself. Have only been dealing with the child abuse for about 8 months. I always knew that I was "different" but wasn't at a point until recently that I was ready to accept what happened. I had blocked all of the bad things from my childhood for a long time and have only recently started having some flashbacks. I have a great therapist that I am working with, but it is hard to find people who have similar experiences. I still feel so alone in this. Hoping to connect with others who understand.

Hi puzzle girl,

Nice to meet you. I immediately thought of a picture in my own beloved T's office. It is a framed puzzle picture and you can make out a little house with garden but key pieces are missing. He uses it to help us when we get frustrated that key pieces of our stories are missing. You can still tell what it is even without all the pieces.

Just at thing I thought of is all.
