This is my first post.

Right now I feel . . .

Hope about the possibility of being understood a little. Some anxiety. Wondering if this is crazy. Wanting to go down this road, but it's intense, even at the start, because to step up and say "I was an abused child," it's new, and it seems dramatic and hardcore, and yet there is no beginning this journey without taking that first giant step. Perhaps I feel a little bit "on trial," like I have to make a case for that claim or something. I feel a bit overwhelmed and drained.
