Website Issues

Post by isurvive » Tue Feb 16, 2016 8:22 am

Hi All,

I would like to apologise for the recent issues with the website and forums.

Last week, the company that provides the hosting for us had a power-fault that took every server down.
If you know anything about computers, you know you don't just pull the power out without shutting down correctly.

This has caused massive issues with the databases and we have been working to recover all of ours.

The good news is I do have backups for all of iSurvive up till the power issues.

The bad news, I see this morning the main site has reset.
I am working with the hosting provider to try and get things back to being stable but this may take a while and may take the site down without warning.

If this happens, do not worry - it should come back at some point.

Hello forum techy

You've laboured long and hard I'm sure

Site seems to be working as it ought

I cannot access my profile and I've noticed that my orange slogan has disappeared from my posts

The contact button for the team and members is missing from the left side of the bar with symbols to read (for example ) unread posts across to log out

Hopefully minor concerns to rectify

Thanks , Fleur

Hi,

I wasn't sure where to tell this, but now that Fleur's orange slogan is back, I'll write here my problem with my control panel.

Since some time ago, I cannot hide my online status, although I've been trying as instructed many times on my Board Preference page.

Thank you for all the work. I'd appreciate it, if you could find time to check it.

Thanks.
r.
