Hello,
I am Chiquitta. I have been on this forum for a few weeks. If anyone wants to share their story with me, I can share my story with you all. We suffered as victims alone and in silence; but together we can heal as one. Speak up and never give up!

It has been so...cold here and we are getting snow! Reminds me of where I grew up. I got a bad grade on my recent worksheets - only a 60%. I believe that is a 'D' for a grade. I'm having difficulty grasping the scientific names for the teeth and areas of mouth for radiographs. Just like I had difficulty grasping Algebra back in high school 30 yrs. ago. I feel dumb.

Dear Sheep

60% is a passing grade, so well done!

I understand feeling dumb
But it's all new to you

One hint I was given re learning:
Tape, in your case, upper /lower/left/right names in 4 different spaces
Recall can then help identify which area By associating place in house with word

Or use different colours for various regions

Also, try dropping terms into thinking, speech

You are learning a new language, processes, away from formal classes for long time
Please give yourself credit

Study habit is maybe a bit rusty
Sit here, relax, enjoy scrumptious brain food, music, tranquillity in garden

Dear Fleur,

Thank you for your study ideas and encouragement! I am a kinesthetic learner. Do you know what that means? It means I learn by doing, so using colors and word associations, and hands-on are all going to be helpful in recalling regions of the mouth and names of the teeth!

Today my instructor handed back one of my papers that I had to do an oral presentation on. I got 100%. Yes, I was so...happy! I am hoping to externship at a pediatric clinic in the fall as my love for children is deep and so is my compassion.

So today, my recovering friend. We can 'celebrate' my grade if you care to join me!

Is there room for one more? Lately has been hard and I'm just sad. Feeling lots of grief, just looking for a safe place to hide out for a while. There might be tears, and all I want is to just sit and be and drink coffee and maybe listen to some music.

Wow Sheep, 100%! Absolutely Celebrating
As a hands on learner, perhaps a model might be useful?
Modelling clay or playdough could be used
I trust this perfect grade boosts your confidence

Hi fleur,

I like a really wide range of music but when I'm feeling sad or anxious I like soft, acoustic music. Anything nice and soothing really.

I find nature really soothing. Maybe there's a patio with a pretty view at this café?

Thanks for the warm welcome

Soft soothing acoustic music playing as you sit in garden beneath a shady tree
Long ago, a Water feature / fountain added -- it is now mossy, still reflects sky
Water droplets sparkle in warm sunshine golden glow....

Distant misty mountains

Beautiful walks in blossom bowers
Everything is calm, serene
Lovely to behold

There are comfy cushions, hummock, reclining couches

Close your eyes, imagine gentleness in perfect harmony
Breathe in the scents of nature

Feel timeless, weightless, carefree..... ..

Smiling as I join you all here. Nowhere else I'd rather be right now. Slipped on the ice yesterday and fractured a bone in my arm.
Luckily I finished creating an area at the weekend for those of us who like to watch the birds feeding. I have 4 feeders up and the birds are going crazy, it's like Birdy Central! The White Collared Doves sit preening themselves then lazily vacuum the soil below while the blue tits, chaffinches and robins vy for position.
It's a peaceful, blue sky sunshine day
You are important
